With Halloween just around the corner, one of Albion’s most anticipated fall traditions is creeping up fast! The annual Spooktacular Trick-or-Treating event, presented by the Albion College Panhellenic Council, will take place on Friday, October 31, from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. on the Albion College Quad. In case of rain, the event will move indoors to the Serra Dow Fitness Center.
Spooktacular brings together Albion College student organizations and athletic teams, who will be stationed around the quad handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Families are invited to stroll through the festive setup and collect candy—all while spooky tunes play and the Halloween spirit fills the air across the quad.

A Thrilling Comeback: “Thriller” Dance Show Returns
This year’s event brings an exciting twist! Making its grand return for the first time since before the pandemic, the Michael Jackson “Thriller” Dance Show will once again haunt the quad. The performance will take place at 6:00 p.m. in front of Kresge Gymnasium.
Even better—the community is invited to join in the fun! Anyone interested in participating in the dance can attend one of the upcoming rehearsals, hosted by the Albion College Cheerleading Team:
- Thursday, October 23
⏰ 5:00–6:00 p.m.
📍 Dow Fieldhouse - Tuesday, October 28
