Elizabeth Olszewski, FNP-C, joins Oaklawn Express Care team in Albion

Elizabeth Olszewski, a bilingual family nurse practitioner, joined Oaklawn Express Care–Albion on Oct. 20. With experience in urgent care and infectious diseases, she is enthusiastic about her new role and patient care commitment.

Elizabeth Olszewski, FNP-C, has joined the Oaklawn medical staff and began seeing patients Oct. 20 at Oaklawn Express Care–Albion, located at 302 N. Monroe St., Suite B.

Olszewski is a bilingual family nurse practitioner, fluent in English and Spanish. She brings experience in both urgent care and infectious disease settings, having worked in the Greater Lansing area and previously provided inpatient consultations at Oaklawn.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University.

“Through my year of doing infectious disease, I started doing urgent care on the side,” Olszewski said. “I realized I really like this and I thought that I might want to do that more on a full-time basis.”

Reflecting on her experience joining Oaklawn, she said, “It’s really an honor to be part of Oaklawn. I’m so impressed from the bottom to the top… There’s a lot of effort to make sure patients and employees feel heard.”

She added, “I felt like a little flower being nurtured from the start.”
